The last few days have been very tragic for the fans of the anime series. The war has seen the deaths of the legendary pirate leader, Whitebeard, and also of Luffy’s brother, Portgas D. Ace.

The cruel Admiral Akaino killed Ace after he was turned over to the Navy by the treacherous pirate, Blackbeard. Fleet Commander, Sengoku, revealed the shocking truth behind Ace’s origins, that he was the son of the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger.

And ultimately, Ace was executed, and witnessing this horrible scene made Luffy go completely mad with rage. He eventually suffered a nervous breakdown and was brought to Maiden Island by Trafalgar Law.

Under a state of desperation, Luffy begins to slide into a sequence of flashbacks. The trauma of Ace’s bloody execution starts taking a toll on his mind, and he starts thinking of it all as a dream. But when Luffy realizes that he is not dreaming, he collapses into a heap and starts crying.

But in his flashbacks, Luffy remembers himself, Ace and a mysterious kid named Sabo. Luffy remembers that the three of them were like brothers. And all indications are that Sabo will make his bow in the upcoming episode. It was very tough to zero down on the best episodes of One Piece as I flitted through my collection.

An anime series that is as wondrous and magnificent as One Piece is yet to come, as the series has delved into and explored the deepest stretches of creativity.

It is hard to imagine any other series taking the place or even equaling the standards of One Piece. Even the sea has never looked as inviting and mysterious as it does in the best of One Piece episodes. I just enjoy the voyages of Monkey D. Luffy and his group of pirates.

Millions of fans, including you and me, have been following the antics of the ‘Straw Hat Pirates’ and I am sure that you have been mesmerized by the lofty settings of the Red Line mountain range and the frothing blue waves of the four seas that serve as a perfect setting for Luffy’s pirating world.

One of the most amazing episodes that I came across was, The Show Begins! Blackbeard’s Plot is Revealed! It was episode 27 of season 13 and brought in a major change with the shocking news of Whitebeard’s death.
It was heart rending to see Luffy battling for live as Jimbei pitched in at the right time and saved him. I am sure that you would have felt at loss as Blackbeard plunged into the very depths of evil. Cunningness and treachery touched a new high with this episode.

Let me tell you fellows, if I start talking about the most inviting episodes of this anime series, it will be very difficult to wrap up. But, the fact is that its regular followers must be on the same wavelength as me. You know, it feels good when we talk about something of our prime interest.
