The first thing that comes to my mind when I think about Roronoa Zoro is “the god of swords!” He can use three swords at the same time to fight with his enemies. You must be wondering how a person with two hands can use three swords simultaneously. Well, the answer lies in the fact that he holds the third sword in his mouth!

Can you hold a sword in your teeth? Ooh! I can’t!

Ah god! I always wished I would have been some Japanese Samurai who has an astounding fighting ability through his swords! But then, I would also be having small Japanese eyes, long beard and long hairs, and I would be wearing a long white coat while fighting with the enemies.

Heck! I only dream and nothing more than that. But my dream of becoming an excellent fighter is being lived by Roronoa Zoro. The green haired character loves to play with his swords and he wants to become world’s greatest swordsman by defeating Mihawk. The fighter, who has abilities to rip apart his enemies, possesses a pure heart since he works hard to fulfill the promise that he made once to his childhood friend Kuina and he salutes his master by heart by meeting all his expectations!

Zorro has been an all-time favorite of the critics and his fans, thereby spawning a millions of nominations, appreciations and awards, some excerpts of which are quoted below:

I guess, there’s no need to ask and tell what One Piece video games are like?

Of course, all the One Piece video games are set in the fictional world of One Piece and revolve around the hair-raising adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat Pirates. Several video game and handheld consoles serve as the podium for the games. The games were particularly released for Japanese audience. Taking the point in view that Japanese market is over flooded with animated games, the creators also made these games available in other parts of world.

The very first game which came out on July 19, 2000 was entitled One Piece: Mezase Kaizoku Ou! Following it was the game entitled One Piece: Grand Battle!, particularly released for 2001- PlayStation. The next game was developed by Alpha Unit and it was entitled One Piece: Yume no Luffy Kaizokudan Tanjou, released on April 27, 2001 in Japan. Bandai brought the next game ‘One Piece: Tobidase Kaizokudan!’ on August 2, 2001.

Next video game in the row was One Piece: Niji no Shima Densetsu which was released on September 13, 2001. And, the list goes on. The very recent One Piece game entitled One Piece: Unlimited Cruise: Episode 2 was released on February 26, 2009. Two other games are under production with ‘One Piece’ as their working title. Hopefully, these two would come out soon and you’d be able to play with your favorite One Piece characters.

One Piece is an animated action oriented series which begins on September 18, 2004. Many years ago, the huge pirate King Gold Roger was killed by his opponents and he left his vast pile of treasure behind in ‘One Piece’. One Piece is not an ordinary thing, actually, it’s a very precious treasure and Gold Roger announces before his death- “if you can find it you can have it and you will be the next Pirate King. Series also introduces us with Monkey D. Luffy, a rubber man who consumed ‘The Devil’s fruit’ when he was a kid. Now his mind is completely set to follow the footprints of his idol, the pirate Shanks and to find the One Piece, the hidden treasure.

Helping him is his body which has the properties of rubber and he’s also surrounded with an assemblage of skilled fighters and thieves to help him completing his tasks and job. His bunch of crooks includes Ronoa Zolo, Nami and Usopp – everyone is ready to do each and everything to get the One Piece and to become the next King of Pirates. In order to achieve this, Monkey must reach the end of the most deadly and dangerous ocean: The Grand Line.
