Knowing One Piece’s creator Eichiro Oda
Had there been no Eichiro Oda there would have been no One Piece episodes. The anime series has its roots in the brain of this great man. Like other great artists of past and present, Eichiro Oda burning desire of becoming a manga artist was fuelled by a certain inspiration. He was motivated by the works of Akira Toriyama’s, who is renowned for giving birth to great manga series such as Dragon Ball and Dr. Slump.
When Echiro was just seventeen years old, he presented his work “Wanted” and snapped away numerous award trophies inclusive of a second spot in the esteemed Tezuka Award. His achievement grabbed him a job opportunity with Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. During that period he assisted in several works such as “Suizan Police Gang” & “Jungle King Tar-chan.”
In 1997, Eichiro took his first step towards fame when One Piece was published in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. Within a short span of time, it went on to become one of the most liked manga series ever.
Eichiro list of works is pretty long. Besides One Piece it embraces Wanted, God’s Gift for the Future, Itsuki Yakou, Monsters and Romance Dawn. One Piece is prime inspiration behind a whole lot of merchandise especially video games, which have always been a huge hit among the gaming community. Starting as a mere manga series One Piece went on to become a supreme anime series with a fan base spread across numerous countries of the world.
